The Challenge
Over the years, new features were added to the account area one at a time, without an overall structure to hold them together. The result was a dashboard that felt cluttered and hard to use. Credits were split across several balances with no clear relationship between them, and most features were hidden in collapsed menus.
The goal was to reorganize these features into a clear, logical structure, so users could understand their account at a glance, manage credits in one place, and find new content and creators more easily.
Simplifying Account Management
The old overview showed every metric with the same visual weight, so nothing stood out and users had to read everything to find what mattered.
I reorganized balances, subscriptions, rewards and activity into a set of consistent, easy-to-scan cards, bringing a summary of the most important information from every section onto a single overview. I replaced the collapsed menus with a flat navigation of clearly named sections, so users can see every area of their account at once. Favorite creators and suggested videos were brought into the overview, turning the dashboard into a starting point for using the platform.

Making Content and Creators Easier to Discover
Users came to the account area to manage their memberships and subscriptions, which made it a natural place to help them find more to watch. Yet in the old structure, discovery was a single link for recommended creators, buried among unrelated features like inbox, messaging settings and deals. Video discovery wasn’t part of the account area at all.
I redesigned and restructured discovery into its own section, with separate tabs for videos and creators. Each is organized into personalized recommendations, trending and fresh picks, helping users explore the platform without knowing exactly what to search for.
A Clearer Way to Manage Credits
Credits are how users pay for content and support creators on the platform. Yet users found them confusing: their balance was split across three separate places, and managing them was scattered across menus. Balances and transfers lived in one place, payment methods in another, and buying credits had no clear entry point.
The credit system itself was fixed and outside my control, so my goal was to make it understandable within those limits. I brought these functions together into a single Credits page, where users can see their total balance, transfer credits between Wallet and Credit Bank, buy credits, manage payment methods and set up Auto Reload.

Improving the Experience Across Devices
The original dashboard wasn’t designed with mobile in mind, so I treated mobile as its own layout rather than a scaled-down desktop.
I redesigned the cards into a compact two-column grid, so the full account overview fits on one screen. Discovery keeps the same Videos and Creators tabs, with horizontally scrolling rows that make browsing easy on smaller screens.

Reflection
This project was about bringing structure to a system that had grown without one. With more time, I’d validate the new layout through usability testing and look for opportunities to simplify the structure further, since some features could be merged rather than just reorganized.
